My experience at this hotel left much to be desired. While the initial impression upon arrival was decent, the room itself was not up to standard-cobwebs on the ceiling and a very cramped bathroom. Plus, the service was lacking as I found the staff to be incommunicative, which was disappointing. The location was decent for getting into the city, but I wouldn't recommend it overall.

The room was cramped and in need of thorough cleaning, with cobwebs visible and maintenance issues such as a taped-up smoke alarm.
Service

The staff seemed pleasant enough when I managed to interact with them, but overall communication was poor.
Location

The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and the shower in the room was excellent. However, the rooms were in need of significant refurbishment, and the price felt too high given the condition and size of the bathrooms. It's disappointing that the location was also misrepresented, being farther from the city center than advertised.
Rooms
5.0
The room was mismatched and in desperate need of an update, with a bathroom that felt smaller than expected.
Service

Some staff were friendly, but the service experience was inconsistent, and management was unhelpful regarding issues.

I had a really mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean enough, the space was quite cramped, especially for the price I paid. The service from the staff was decent, but could be more attentive. The location was convenient for getting around the city, making it an easy walk to the main attractions. However, the dining options fell short of expectations, particularly during breakfast.
Rooms
5.0
The single room I booked was small and could barely accommodate an adult, which was disappointing given the price. However, it was spotless and quiet, which I appreciated.
Service

Dining

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, enjoying the spacious family room that accommodated my husband and grandsons comfortably. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the city center, and the free parking was a huge bonus. However, the tight breakfast schedule was a bit of a letdown for me, and the smaller room types may not be suitable for adults. Overall, it provided good value for the price.
Rooms
8.0
We stayed in a large family room that was quite comfortable with a fridge and an electric fan. However, I noticed that some of the smaller rooms might be too cramped for adults as they seemed better suited for children.
Service
9.0
The staff were very obliging and attentive, always available without being intrusive, which made our stay enjoyable.
Location
9.0
The hotel is well-located, only about a 10-minute walk to the city gates and close to shops, pubs, and independent eateries.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent, although I felt it was rushed as we were reminded about closing times even though we were within the stated hours.
Facilities

The availability of free parking was great, especially in a city where finding parking can be challenging.
